I'm back!

I've been back in the US for the last week, and it's strange how much I missed my own bed. The hotel in Australia had a much nicer bed, but I sleep much better on mine. I also missed Joey the pussycat and not practicing tae-kwon-do.

Surprisingly, I'm kinda in a can't-quite-out-my-finger-on-it mood now that I'm back in the US. I finally realize (after many suspicions) that the US is a bubble isolated from the rest of the world and home to some of the worst food in the world. I really miss the independent restaurants in Australia and the multi-culturism that just isn't here (at least where I am).

I'm seriously thinking of moving to Australia and I found out that one of my skills is in high demand in Australia...so it should be easy to move. I need to think about this more. Australia seemed to combine the best of Europe with the best of the US...or is this just another case of the grass being greener?
