Don’t buy these new!

MR has an interesting list of things that you shouldn’t buy new. Particularly important is #6 i.e. don’t buy a new car! I can't stress how important this is! Or buy a new car, if you really want to, but use it until it dies or thereabouts (5 yrs +).

Sure some new jewelry is nice, but I’ve always been captivated by the well-kept used jewelry that can be had for much less than comparable new pieces.
